Derek Mueller

Derek, a native of Houston, Texas, has always been passionate about helping people. After graduating from the University of Texas and earning his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law, he found his calling in personal injury law. To Derek, "client first" is more than just a slogan - it's the only way to practice law. He feels it's his duty to put his clients' goals at the forefront of everything he does.

Derek celebrates his clients' big victories by sharing the joy with his team, knowing their hard work and dedication made it all possible. He admires Stewart, his mentor, who believes in doing things the right way and caring for the clients as people, not just cases. Growing up in a family with a rich military history, Derek once dreamed of becoming a fighter pilot. Nowadays, he enjoys scuba diving and indulging in his favorite comfort food, smoked brisket.

His favorite movie is Ronin, directed by John Frankenheimer, and he aspires to learn additional foreign languages someday. Outside of work, Derek is a devoted family man, married with a daughter and two furry friends. On weekends, he enjoys spending quality time with loved ones and hanging out with friends.
