Adrea creció en el suburbio de Cypress en Houston, Texas – justo en el camino hacia la sede principal del bufete. Se graduó con una Licenciatura en negocios de la Universidad de Houston-Downtown, donde estuvo en la lista del decano.

Buscando ampliar sus horizontes y dándose cuenta de la pasión que tenía por el derecho, Adrea se trasladó a Ohio para asistir a la Universidad del Norte de Ohio, Facultad de Derecho Claude W. Pettit, donde obtuvo su Doctorado. En la Universidad del Norte de Ohio, Adrea estuvo en el equipo de Apelación de Juicio Simulado de la Corte de Derecho Ambiental donde participó en la Competencia de Juicio Simulado de la Corte de Derecho Ambiental de la Universidad Pace, obteniendo el mérito de Mejor Oradora. Además, mientras estaba en la Universidad del Norte de Ohio, Adrea también estuvo en la Lista del Decano, fue la tesorera de Phi Alpha Delta y fue la Vice Presidenta del BLSA. Adrea es miembro del Colegio de Abogados de Texas, el Colegio de Abogados de América y de los Jóvenes Profesionales de Texas.

Adrea es Secretaria Adjunta del voluntariado de Texas, ofreciéndose como voluntaria en varias organizaciones que ayudan a registrar a los Tejanos para votar.
